Volunteering at Brenham
Each year volunteers at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Brenham donate approximately 10,000 hours of service.
The volunteers bring a myriad of gifts and talent with them. They can be found throughout the facility from the front information desk to enhancing patient care, delivering beverages and reading material to clerical assistance in the business and other offices. Volunteers in Brenham range from retirees to teenagers and can volunteer as many hours that will suit their personal schedule.
Volunteers expand their horizons and develop camaraderie with others who share a common interest in helping others. There are as many reasons for volunteering as there are people who volunteer.
By volunteering, you will:
- Meet people
- Contribute to the community
- Develop new skills or maintain existing skills
- Explore career possibilities
- Have fun!
In addition to their volunteer hours, the Brenham volunteers staff the gift shop. Profits from these are used to purchase much needed non-budgeted items for the hospital.
