Baylor Scott & White Volunteer Portal

Our volunteers:

  • Provide support to heart patients and their families utilizing their own experiences and special training during procedures and hospitalization
  • Greet incoming guests
  • Assist concierge staff
  • Escort guests to their destinations
  • Deliver flowers and more

Our volunteers:

Volunteers roles:

  • Front desk concierge ambassador: Greet incoming guests, assist concierge staff, escort guests to their destinations, deliver flowers and more
  • Caring Hearts: Provide support to heart patients and their families utilizing their own experiences and special training during procedures and hospitalization
  • Hospitality volunteer: Compassion care rounding, visiting guests in their suite to offer support
  • Heart cart: Offer refreshments to make waiting more comfortable for guests
  • Cardiac rehabilitation: Assist the cardiac rehabilitation staff in daily duties and offer support to guests during sessions. (must be referred by cardiac rehabilitation staff)
  • LVAD: Provide various support to LVAD patients (must be referred by LVAD coordinators)
  • Book cart: Offer reading materials, puzzle books, etc. to patients and visitors in patient care areas and waiting areas
